TQS received notice that it has been selected for award of a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by the Air Force. The topic, AF182-016 “Predictive Analytics for Optimal Repair Determination” falls within a TQS’ core competency of data mining and analysis for maintenance improvements, cost reductions, and improved reliability for high cost avionics systems and components. TQS will analyze repair history and maintenance support costs at the SRU and CCA level to optimize total lifecycle repair costs and repair time for a given asset. Follow-on Phases will develop a prototype of the decision support tool that will be applied to a suitable set of AF Weapon System Supply Chain Management (SCM) assets.
