Total Quality Systems was awarded Task Order 8 for continued sustainment and support for the Contingency Acquisition Support Model (cASM) on the 13th of March, 2018. cASM supports requirements development and documentation for acquisitions and purchasing, primarily in the contingency (deployed) environment. Using a tax preparation software approach, cASM users answer questions regarding an intended purchase and cASM populates all FAR/DFAR required documents/forms necessary. This tool achieves significant reductions in the time necessary to provide Contracting Officers an accurate and complete purchasing package. Its web-based structure allows visibility of all packages in the workflow and electronic signatures eliminate the need to travel in a hostile environment just to get an approval signature.
