TQS was awarded a 6-month extension to the Item Unique Identification (IUID) Technical Support and Repair contract on 10 October 2020 to support USAF sustainment operations at Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Hill AFB, Utah. The extension will run through 9 April 2021. TQS has been awarded IUID support contracts to support OO-ALC since 2014.
TQS provides full-time and on-site support for 38 IUID production equipment items locally plus two geographically separated unit (GSU) locations and maintains the equipment in its full operational capability, including hardware upgrades and new equipment as necessary.
TQS has been supporting the OO-ALC IUID Integrated Product Team (IPT) since July 2009, helping to improve the processes and expansion of IUID throughout the Complex and AF-wide. TQS created and currently maintains the Defense Repair Information Logistics System (DRILS) also known as G200, an AF enterprise-wide repair information documentation and collection system based on UID tracking. TQS integrated IUID technology and practices into DRILS well before the mandate for IUID compliance was issued by the DoD. TQS also supports the Air Force IUID community by attending, briefing, presenting, training and demonstrating IUID production, marking, and management techniques and principles across Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC).
